The Society Council is delighted to announce that HRH The Princess Royal has agreed to become Patron of the Wiltshire Horn Sheep Society.
The feeling was, that we needed to approach a person with the right profile, who is known for their support for agriculture and who has a longstanding connection with our breed.
At no time since the Society was established in 1923, has it had the support of a patron but with our coming centenary, the Council decided it was appropriate for the Society to have its first ever patron.
